Tariq Nazzal

General Manager

Driving operational excellence in organizations from inception to completion, Mr. Tariq Nazzal holds the position of General Manager at the Royal Development Company. By exuding his dynamic, effective, and influential leadership style that motivates both his team and partners alike, Mr. Nazzal is responsible for overseeing all facets of the organization.

His strong leadership within and throughout the real estate sector makes him a dynamic advocate for the entire sector. Mr. Nazzal possesses a hands-on experience in feasibility studies, financial performance, design management, project management, contract negotiation, business development, and risk management, all backed up by remarkable achievements that stand as a testimony to his wealth of knowledge and persistence to succeed in the present competitive landscape.

Before joining the Royal Development Company in 2019, Mr. Tariq garnered extensive real estate experience over 20 years by working with key development and investment companies all around the globe. His project roster includes an illustrious list of mixed-use projects in UAE, Seychelles, Greece, Pakistan, Sudan, Maldives, Morocco, Serbia, and the list goes on. The methodology of conducting business for Mr. Nazzal has been always reflected in the concept of managing the development at all stages from the moment of creating the concept design to realizing exemplary accomplishments. His international work expertise brings to the fore leading technological and procedural advancements, enriching the organization’s systems and outlook thus establishing him as a regional industry leader.

Mr. Tariq holds a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from Birzeit University and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from The British University in Dubai. He also has earned accreditation as a Project Management Professional.

Joseph Atallah

Head of Marketing

As Head of Marketing at the Royal Development Company, Mr. Joseph Atallah plays a vital role in the company’s success. He is a seasoned marketing and communication professional that can direct an organization in visioning its strategic growth.

During his work experience spanning over 20 years, Mr. Atallah was a pivotal contributor to the success of multi-national brands in the MENA region. Working with leading multinational agencies in the area, has given Mr. Atallah the knowledge and experience in allocating the best marketing strategies for several significant brands in major industries, such as real estate, banking, FMCG, and much more. Mr. Joseph has helmed top management positions at many of the renowned marketing and communication firms, building an enviable list of partners, in semi-government, government, and private sectors alike.

An awarded MarCom veteran recognized by several international MarCom organizations, Mr. Atallah enjoys the extensive experience that is manifested through a multitude of successes, thus rendering his contribution to this sector which is witnessing great expansion in the MENA region.

Joseph holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration (BBA) from the American University of Beirut.

Sanjay Arora

Head of Development

Mr. Arora is a veteran professional with two decades of hands-on experience in the areas of real estate design and development, architecture, project management & planning, market research, feasibility studies, and cost & revenue, to name only the major ones.

With impeccable knowledge of the project life cycle and the capacity to liaise and work seamlessly with senior managers of various disciplines, he always retains a firm grasp on the various aspects of project development, mitigating risks and motivating staff to achieve the best results.

As an architect, he has brought architecture and design into his structured leadership style, stressing balance, and taking a holistic approach when dealing with business challenges.

Before joining the Royal Development Company, Mr. Arora accumulated a wealth of experience in managing the development, design, and execution of dozens of mega projects with major development companies like India’s leading DLF and the Dubai-based EMAAR, DAMAC.

In his career, Mr. Arora has received dozens of awards and recognition from his employers and clients alike.

Mr. Arora has a bachelor’s degree in architecture from MANIT, Bhopal, India.

Salma Khalid

Head of Design

A talented Design Manager with more than 20 years of experience in managing projects starting from inception through completion, Salma has worked across a broad range of challenging projects of different sizes in different fields, including master plans, education, healthcare, hospitality, government, aviation, ports & border posts, industrial buildings, residential, mosques, and retail.

Her career has seen her lead and fully coordinate dedicated teams comprised of architects, engineers, and finance staff, in addition to handling all communication with project’s consultants.

She is a skilled communicator with all project relevant stakeholders, making sure all work meets expectations in accordance with project brief and scope – while also ensuring the final cost does not exceed the allocated budget.

She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Science of Architectural Engineering from the University of Baghdad, Iraq, and a Master’s Degree in Urban Planning, also from the University of Baghdad, Iraq.
